Dead Baby's First Christmas Ornament....

So this is so morbid and I know it...but I was looking for an ornament for Elliot's first Christmas. I've looked at angels and everything relating to babies...There's a baby's First Christmas, our first Christmas, first Christmas in our new house, first Christmas married and so on, but WHERE is the "Dead Baby's First Christmas???" I know that's sooooo wrong, but that's all I can think when I'm looking for an ornament and I'm really weird about ornaments, they are special and have to speak for me when I buy them, just how I've always been, but I just can't seem to find the "Dead baby's First Christmas...." And I really hope no one knows where to find it, cause if so, that means you've been looking for one too....

  1. I went to a place called Peace of Mind Emporium in my town looking for a journal and book and came across some beautiful angel ornaments. You should check them out on the web. I am sure they will ship to you and could even send you pictures of their angel ornaments to look at.

  3. I was at Target the other day and found an ornament that I'm going to go back and buy tomorrow (I was there looking for something else but didn't have enough money until after we got paid to actually buy it)

It was a circle and wings and a teardrop/diamond shaped body that was flat shiny metal. And engraved on the body it said "Maybe they are not stars in the sky, but openings to heaven that our loved ones look through to tell us that they're happy."

It's so perfect, I just have to buy one for Cora.

  4. When Gracie died, someone gave us an ornament that they bought at Hallmark - it is called 'Candle of Peace.' It has a candle with a 'saucer' under it. There is an angel sleeping on the saucer in front of the candle; it says 'sleep in heavenly peace' on the saucer behind the candle. You can put a bulb into the bottom from the lights on your tree to make the candle light up.

  6. I am ordering one for my son from Things Remembered. They have Angels, Baby's First Christmas, etc...but what they do is engrave anything you want to say into any of their products. It takes 1-2 hours at the store (there's one in a mall where I live), or you can order them online. The christmas ornaments can be found at: http://www.thingsremembered.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Listing_10001_9951_1882_1882_-1_3851_3852?occId=

Good luck with your search! God bless.
